Proper Surface Prep

We diamond-grind every slab before coating so the epoxy bonds at the mechanical level, not just the surface. That's why our floors don't peel.

Built for BC Winters

We use polyaspartic topcoats that flex with freeze-thaw cycles and cure reliably in cold temperatures.

Hundreds of Design Options

Solid colours, metallic effects, multi-colour flakes, custom logos. We don't just coat floors, we design them.

Fast Turnaround

Most residential floors are done in 1–2 days. We respect your time and keep your garage downtime to a minimum.

Our Crew

What we do

Every type of floor. Every type of project.

From a single-car garage to a 50,000 sq ft warehouse, we coat concrete across the BC Interior. Here's the full picture of what we handle.

Residential garages and basements

Garage floor epoxy is our most popular residential service — single-car garages, double garages, triple-car setups, and detached workshops all get the same diamond-ground prep and UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat. We also do basements: rec rooms, home gyms, laundry rooms, utility spaces, and basement suites. If it's concrete inside a house, we can coat it.

Commercial spaces

We coat retail floors, showrooms, car dealership showrooms, restaurant kitchens, offices, medical and dental suites, fitness studios, and CrossFit gyms. Commercial epoxy flooring needs to hold up to foot traffic, cleaning chemicals, and daily wear without looking tired. We spec for the actual use, not just the square footage.

Industrial and warehouse floors

Warehouse epoxy flooring, manufacturing plant floors, food processing facilities, distribution centre floors, and cold storage coatings are a different category than residential — they're high-build, multi-coat systems rated for forklifts, heavy point loads, chemical exposure, and thermal shock. We do real industrial epoxy flooring, not upgraded garage systems.

Automotive shops and working floors

Automotive shop floors, body shop floors, mechanic bays, lube shops, tire shops, fleet maintenance facilities, and truck wash bays all need oil-resistant, chemical-tolerant coatings with real traction. We've done vehicle service bays, equipment shop floors, and agricultural shop coatings throughout the BC Interior — floors that actually get used.

Decorative finishes

Metallic epoxy floors — including 3D metallic effects and marble-look finishes — are our most visually striking option. Full-broadcast vinyl flake systems are our most popular. We also do quartz broadcast floors, solid colour epoxy, custom colour blends, satin and gloss finishes, and anti-slip aggregate finishes wherever traction matters most.

Concrete coating systems

We work across the full range of concrete coating technology: polyaspartic floor coatings, polyurea systems, epoxy mortar bases, self-leveling epoxy, moisture-mitigating primers, penetrating concrete sealers, polished concrete, diamond-ground finishes, concrete floor resurfacing, overlay coatings, and epoxy crack repair. The right system depends on the slab, not just the budget.

How it's actually built

The engineering behind every epoxy floor coating

A good-looking floor that fails in two years isn't a good floor. Here's what actually separates a proper system from a hardware-store kit.

Surface preparation — where it's won or lost

01

Moisture vapor testing

We use calcium chloride tests (ASTM F1869) or in-situ probes (ASTM F2170) before specifying any system. Concrete emitting more than 3 lbs/1000 sq ft/24 hrs or RH above 75% gets a moisture-mitigating primer — ignoring this causes delamination, every time.

02

Surface profile (CSP 3–4)

Diamond grinding with industrial planetary grinders opens the concrete surface to CSP 3–4 per ICRI guideline 310.2. This gives the primer a mechanical key — no acid etching, which leaves pH residue and uneven profile. Dust and paste are vacuumed immediately using HEPA systems.

03

Crack and joint repair

Active cracks are routed and filled with semi-rigid polyurea. Shrinkage cracks get rigid epoxy injection or skim-coat with epoxy mortar. Control joints are honoured through the system and capped with matching-colour joint filler — not bridged, which would cause topcoat cracking above the joint.

04

Temperature and humidity control

Epoxy application requires substrate temps between 10°C and 30°C, and substrate temp must be at least 3°C above dew point. In Kamloops, early-spring and late-fall installs often require portable heating on cold garage slabs. We monitor conditions throughout application, not just at the start.

Standard system specification

Primer100% solids epoxy or moisture-mitigating polyurethane

Selected based on moisture vapor emission testing

Base coat100% solids epoxy, 8–12 wet mils

UV-stable on topcoat-only systems; standard amine-blush formulas for covered installs

BroadcastFull flake, partial flake, or quartz aggregate

Knocked down and vacuumed before topcoat for a smooth, even surface

TopcoatAliphatic polyaspartic, 3–5 mils

UV-stable, non-yellowing, 3× harder than epoxy; cures in 2–4 hours at 15°C+

Total build20–30+ mils DFT (0.5–0.75mm)

Industrial systems run 60–120 mils with epoxy mortar base

Cure to light traffic12–24 hours (polyaspartic topcoat)

Full chemical resistance at 72 hours

Why polyaspartic and not just epoxy?

Epoxy is the body — high-build, impact-resistant, bonds aggressively to concrete. But standard epoxy yellows under UV and stays tacky longer in cold temps. Aliphatic polyaspartic topcoats cure in hours, stay clear indefinitely under UV, and hit 80+ Shore D hardness. Together they cover what neither does alone.

BC Interior climate considerations

Kamloops, Merritt, and Chase routinely hit −20°C in winter and +38°C in summer. Thermal cycling expands and contracts concrete slabs significantly — we spec systems with adequate flexibility to handle it. All exposed garage and warehouse applications get polyaspartic topcoats rated for −40°C brittleness point.
